Festin’ on Frenchmen
Jazz Fest Late Night at DBA New Orleans
During Jazz Fest, Frenchmen Street becomes the beating heart of New Orleans nightlife—and DBA is where the city’s most legendary late-night sessions come alive. Known worldwide for its impeccable sound, intimate room, and history of hosting iconic improvisers, DBA has long been a home for musicians who thrive on risk, groove, and spontaneous magic.
Festin’ on Frenchmen brings together an all-star collective led by Brad Miller and Oteil Burbridge, one of the most influential bassists of his generation. A cornerstone of modern improvisational music. Oteil is best known for his work with The Allman Brothers Band and as a current member of Dead & Company, where his deep pocket, melodic bass lines, and spiritual approach to music have made him a fan favorite across generations. His résumé also includes collaborations with Aquarium Rescue Unit, Tedeschi Trucks Band, ARU, Herbie Hancock, and countless genre-defining artists.
Joined by Adam Deitch (Lettuce), and Nicholas Payton and special guests, this ensemble blends funk, jazz, soul, and fearless improvisation—drawing from decades of shared history and mutual musical trust. These are players who listen hard, take chances, and build something new in real time.
This is not a standard set. It’s a late-night Jazz Fest convergence—where world-class musicians meet in one of New Orleans’ most storied rooms to let the music go where it wants. Get your tickets now while they last!
