About this Event
FERNTV's Scenes in the City
Step into the heart of downtown Toronto with FERNTV’s Scenes in the City, a guided walking tour that brings the city’s film culture, architecture, and storytelling history to life. The experience begins at the iconic Gooderham Building, one of the most photographed heritage landmarks in the city and a perfect starting point to set the tone for a cinematic journey through Toronto’s core.
The experience continues through the city’s financial core, the Financial District, where glass towers and historic streets intersect, before concluding near the grand elegance of the Fairmont Royal York. Blending film, architecture, and storytelling, Scenes in the City offers a cinematic lens on Toronto’s most defining landmarks.
From there, the tour moves through some of the city’s most recognizable cultural and entertainment landmarks, including the bustling transit hub of Union Station and the world-renowned performance venue Roy Thomson Hall. Guests will also explore Toronto’s film identity at TIFF Lightbox, a central home for international cinema and the Toronto International Film Festival, alongside nearby theatre spaces such as Royal Alexandra Theatre and POW Theatre.
