Guided fall walk at one of the Old Growth Forest Network’s local and dedicated forests.
About this Event

Fernbrook Natural Area is a quiet woodland with mostly upland trees with no big hills in the area we’ll cover. The land has a minimum of invasive plants, easy to walk, and is just a real pleasure to be in this a gem of a place.

Join Tree Steward Robin Hanes on this walk at one of the Old Growth Forest Network’s local and dedicated forests. Robin, who is connected with the Old Growth Forest Network will talk about how older forests are different from younger forests, and how valuable they are.

Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Good canopy will protect against light rain or hot sun. Limited to 15 participants - No minors.
