About this Event
Join us for an evening of hands-on learning where you'll get to make your own fermented hot sauce. We'll cover the whole process from choosing your flavours, finding out how to ferment the ingredients, through to stabilising and bottling the sauces once they're ready.
The evening will start with a bit of background: chillies, fermentation and history, but we quickly move onto the making, learning how to prepare, ferment and then stabilise a batch of sauce. And we'll end with a delicious tasting of sauces!
You'll get to take home two jars: one of your freshly prepared jar of chillies and flavouring to ferment at home, and the other a jar of fermented sauce, stabilised and bottled, ready to eat.
