Fermanagh & Omagh Women’s Aid invites you to participate in a structured consultation event to inform the design of a new PEACEPLUS funded programme.This programme will explore the interconnections between sectarianism, racism and misogyny, and how these belief systems contribute to gender-based violence, harmful community attitudes and division.We are seeking input from community representatives, professionals, statutory partners and local stakeholders to ensure the programme is:
- Relevant to local need
- Sensitive to community dynamics
- Inclusive across backgrounds
- Evidence-informed
- Impact-focused
What the Consultation Will Cover• Understanding the local context
• Identifying current gaps in prevention and awareness
• Exploring how misogyny intersects with sectarianism and racism
• Discussing risks and sensitivities
• Shaping the programme’s delivery model
• Identifying meaningful outcomes and measures of successThis is not a training session.
