Inspired by her southern roots she known for passionate reinterpretations of nostalgic soul, rnb and hip hop with clubby bass, uptempos breaks and other explosive electronic genres. Her music has always found a way of connecting deeply with a wide audience whether she’s keeping a dancefloor jumping or in your headphones at home. You may have heard amita at beloved NYC clubs like Public Records, Mood Ring, Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Pecos, Elsewhere and more. amita has played with artists like LTJ BUKEM, Takuya Nakamura, Jialing, and more.
