Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Safeguarding

Join Sundial Centre for Education on Harmful Practices for an online session on FGM safeguarding

This session will provide an introduction to FGM (female genital mutilation) and will be presented by experts in the field. FGM (female genital mutilation) involves some or all of the external female genitalia being removed or injured for non-medical reasons. FGM is mostly carried out on girls between babyhood and adolescence, and occasionally on adult women. FGM is harmful and often leads to life-long health complications.
