Join us for a fun and beginner-friendly Needle Felted Bumblebee Workshop! 🐝In this class, you’ll learn a simple, approachable needle felting technique while creating your own adorable realistic fuzzy bees or choose from an easier whimical bee model. Students can make up to three 3.5-4 inch larger bees or more tiny bees, depending on the size you choose and how you like to work. Most participants easily complete ONE bee during class, and you’ll head home with the wool and supplies you need to felt more bees at your own pace. (At home, you will need to have your own glue, scissors, wire cutters and pliers, if making legs at home).
Your kit includes all wool, a felting pad, felting needle, wire, bee wings, and your choice of 3 magnets, 3 floral picks, or three broach pins (you may mix and match) so you can continue creating after class (or stay and make more if time allows!).
Once your bees are finished, take them home where you can turn them into all kinds of charming pieces, attach them to a floral pick, make a fridge magnet, add them to a spring wreath, create a garland, use them as a plant poke.
Bees can be made small, medium, or large, making this a great class whether you want quick, tiny creations or a few statement pieces. We will have a simple design and a more complex realistic bee for those who have felted before or are up for a more challenging project.
