The Kitchen at Barnard Griffin invites you to embark on a magical journey through Middle-earth with an enchanting Lord of the Rings–inspired dinner experience.
Join us as twilight falls over the Shire on Friday, September 18th from 6:30pm–8:30pm at Barnard Griffin Winery, where a night of wonder, warmth, and elven mystery awaits among the vine-covered hills and starlit tales of old.
Gather your fellowship and prepare for a five-course, wine-paired feast inspired by the legendary lands of hobbits, elves, and noble kingdoms. Each course has been thoughtfully crafted to capture the spirit of Middle-earth from the comforting magic of the Shire’s bounty to the strength and honor of the lost lands of old kings. All while showcasing Barnard Griffin’s handcrafted wines in harmonious pairings.
Whether you seek adventure with your companions, celebrate friendship beneath the vine leaves, or simply wander through a night of fantastical flavor and fine wine beside the mountain halls of the dwarven folk, this evening promises to be one of merriment, magic, and unforgettable toasts beneath the stars.
Tickets are $85.00 for wine club members and $95.00 for non-members. Wine Club Members are encouraged to email [email protected] to receive your discount on tickets.
1st Course: The Shire
- wild mushrooms on cheese toast
2nd Course: Rivendell
- chive blossom salad with pickled carrots, goat cheese, edible flowers, and served with lembas bread
3rd Course: Erebor
- stout glazed steak & onion skewers with crispy shallots, over barley
4th Course: Gondor
- herb-crusted pork loin with a red wine reduction, over a white bean puree, served with blistered cherry tomatoes
5th: Course: Mordor
- dark chocolate cake with a white chocolate raspberry ganache
