Generally, within the course of a day's time my phone is overwhelmed with calls from solicitors or calls from folks and places I have no knowledge of, nor any desire to participate in their reason for calling. My phone automatically screens all numbers that are not on my list of contacts and asks the nature of the call or suggests they leave a message. That happened today from an unrecognized number but fortunately the caller was the pastor, Tommy Echols, from Fellowship Baptist Church, just down the road in Mt Juliet and he left a message. Upon returning his call we were able to set up Sunday, July 26th, for a singing at the church starting at 6:00 pm. This will be our first trip to Fellowship as Anchored but I met pastor Tommy shortly after his arrival when I filled in with King's Way. Also our good friend James VanHook and his wife Joyce attend there and we had discussed on several occasions the possibility of our ministry being invited to come, and it has now become a reality! I can remember singing at Fellowship way back when brother Robert Sanders was their pastor and we always enjoyed our worship with this church. I don't know if any of those members are still around because that was several years back, 30 or more by recollection. New pastor, new quartet, maybe new members, but still singing and praising the same God, yesterday, today, and tomorrow! We invite you to come and worship with us on this last Sunday night in July. We're gonna get our praise on, why don't you?
