Felix Martin is a Venezuelan guitarist and leader of a band trio based in the elite Los Angeles music scene in California. Their unique and versatile style blends an eclectic metal sound with Latin music and jazz/fusion genres. Felix grew up in Venezuela before moving to Boston to study at the renowned Berklee School of Music. After graduating on a scholarship, he was signed by Prosthetic Records and began touring the world with his band.
The band has toured extensively, sharing the stage with prominent acts such as Sons of Apollo (Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan, Bumblefoot), Marty Friedman, and Tony MacAlpine. They have performed across the USA, Europe, Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, and China. Additionally, they have appeared at major festivals including Progressive Nation at Sea, SXSW, Euroblast in Germany, Mexicali Prog in Mexico, and Tech Fest in the UK, among many others. Over the years, Felix has been featured in various media publications worldwide, including LA Weekly, Revolver Magazine, Billboard, CBS Radio, Guitar World, Premier Guitar, Vintage Guitar, and Blabbermouth, to name a few. Felix performs with self-designed 12, 14, and 16-string guitars, which consist of two guitars joined together as one. His guitar company, FM Guitars, is on track to have 100 players within just a few months of its release.
