About this Event
From the creator of Chanukah with The Feldman Dynamic (2004), The Feldman Dynamic Chanukah Spectacular (2005), The Feldman Dynamic: Home for the Hanukkahs (2006), The Feldman Dynamic: Hanukkah in Little Havanaka (2007), Cracker Barrel® Old Country Chanukah (2008), The Feldman Dynamic: Jai-Alai Hanukkah (2009), The Feldman Dynamic: 8 Wards of Chanukah (2018), and The Feldman Dynamic: Chanukahmunication (2020), comes the “shamash” and final installment – Feldman Dynamic: The Last Hanukkah (2024). (Yes, the “The” is gone.)
After spending 45 previous nights of Chanukah together in front of paying audiences – in an apartment, an art gallery, 3 black box theaters, a condo, a coworking space break room, 3 houses, a Jai-Alai Fronton, 2 proscenium theaters, on a Zoom Webinar, and most infamously at 3 Cracker Barrel® restaurants (where their first festive holiday dinner was shut down by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office!) – award-winning performance art family Feldman Dynamic now attempts to celebrate the Festival of Lights together over FaceTime, Apple’s proprietary videotelephony product, in their ninth and final Hanukkah happening, Feldman Dynamic: The Last Hanukkah. As with every other version of this reality show over the last 21 years, there’s no script, no rehearsal, and no refunds whatsoever.
While there once again may or may not be any latkes, dreidels, donuts, gelt – or a plot – they still have each other. Oh yeah, and a Chanukiah! Fear not, candles will be lit, which is the minimum obligation of the holiday.
Thank you for watching “A play in which the members of a real family have dinner together and talk about the problems they are facing.” – The New York Times
Feldman Dynamic is Adrienne McIntosh, Brian Feldman, Edward Alan Feldman, and Marilyn Wattman-Feldman.
Feldman Dynamic received its world premiere at The Kraine Theater in New York on August 9, 2003. This is the 17th run of Feldman Dynamic, and the ninth and final Chanukah/Hanukkah installment, only one of which was threatened with a cease and desist letter from the world-famous Radio City Rockettes™. ב״ה
This project is supported in part by the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.

“Unpalatable theater-verité experiment... a love-it-or-hate-it proposition.” – Orlando Weekly
