It is our first and most important habit. How to do it ‘correctly’ has been at the centre of countless practices and modalities, but there is no one right way to breathe. Our breathing needs to be adaptive and adaptable. When we have awareness, choice, and the potential of unrestricted movement, our system can make the adjustments it needs for our breathing to serve us at any given moment. Whilst some activities such as singing, or swimming may need specific techniques, these can be enhanced by a background of adaptability and versatility.
Working with the breath can lower stress and improve well- being - working with awareness and other aspects of movement can improve our breathing. Harnessing this two- way relationship the workshop will put you more in touch with your breathing and connect increased awareness of your breath to the mobility of your chest, spine and shoulders, neck...
