About this Event
This course is designed for anyone looking for:
- An accessible, well-rounded approach to yoga;
- A refresher to return to practice;
- Building the confidence to practice yoga safely.
Yoga is for everyone and is an awareness practice. Main objectives in this course is to teach you the fundamentals of a balanced yoga practice - posture, breathwork, meditation and relaxation - in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of yoga in order to build a strong foundation and understanding of yoga.
Every class will contain elements of a rounded yoga practice:
- Physical postures - to strengthen and tone the body and increase mobility
- Meditation – introduction to Buddhist mindfulness practices
- Breathwork - simple breathing practices to boost mood and balance the nervous system
- Relaxation – can you believe we have to learn that? But we do!
Please book for each week you can attend individually.
N.B. Please check with your GP if you have any medical issues or worries before joining our sessions. Let the instructor know prior to the session if you have a condition or need modifications. Never continue with a class or a movement that is too difficult for your level of experience or ability, or if you feel any discomfort.
About the instructor:
Sinem Er is a Yoga Alliance USA certified E-RYT 500 and YACEP teacher (YA ID: 147459) She has led Yoga Alliance USA Approved 200-hour Teacher Training Programs and Continuing Education Programs since 2014.
She teaches multi-level, alignment-based vinyasa yoga classes, grounded in the practices of mindfulness and compassion. She has been practicing yoga since 2005 and has found a great joy in sharing the teachings of yoga since 2010.
She was fortunate enough to learn about yoga from many valuable teachers, but her root teacher is Cyndi Lee, the first western female yoga teacher to integrate yoga and Buddhism, the founder of the legendary OM Yoga School. She completed her 200-hour training in 2010 and 500-hour advanced training in 2015 with her.
