Feeding our Future: A talk on fueling the body with plants!
Interested in finding ways to eat sustainably while meeting your nutritional needs? Come listen to our panel of experts speak about the wellness benefits of a plant-based diet and how to use a plant-based diet to achieve nutritional goals, increase energy, and decrease individual carbon footprints. We will have a sports nutritionist, a plant-based powerlifter and athlete, the owner of a local plant-based eatery in downtown Colorado Springs, and our Colorado College campus dietician. After listening to brief talks by each panelist, we will host the space for a Q&A session where attendees can ask a multitude of questions ranging from how to eat more plants, general nutritional guidance, or the personal motivations behind transitioning to a plant-based diet. Vegans, non-vegans, athletes, and generally curious people alike are encourage to join us! There will be mediterranean food provided catered by the Plant Futures Club.
