Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) Intensive Training ONLINE

If you've read the literature or taken an introductory workshop about FIT and want to deepen your understanding of the principles and practices involved, this is the training for you! Deigned to accomodate our friends down under, this FIT Intensive Training will be held live online Tuesday-Thursday, June 3-5, 2025 from 9 AM to 4 PM daily AEST time zone (Sydney, Australia).Participants from other locations around the globe are also welcome to attend. PLEASE CHECK YOUR TIME ZONE FOR DATE AND TIME CONVERSION, for example, the training will start Monday at 4 PM Central USA time zone.

Cost - $1,100 Early Bird $1200 Regular.

CE Credits: 18 CE credits are available for this 3 day FIT intensive training. CE credits can be purchased at the time of registration.

Target Audience: Psychologists, Marriage Family Therapists, Social Workers, Counselors and other health care professionals. Intermediate level.

Course Description: The FIT intensive training is focused on FIT skill development. Participants will receive a thorough grounding in the principles and practices of FIT.

The training will be facilitated by Scott Miller, Ph.D. , ICCE Director and Cynthia Maeschalck, ICCE Director of Professional Development.

Be sure and sign up early as spots are limited and this event usually sells out several months in advance.

Learning Objectives After completing this training the health care professional will be able to:

• outline the empirical foundations of Feedback Informed Treatment (i.e., research supporting the common factors, outcome and alliance measures, and feedback).

• apply alliance building skills that cut across different therapeutic orientations and diverse client populations.

• create therapeutic relationships that utilize feedback using the Session Rating Scale (SRS) and the Outcome Rating Scale (ORS).

• utilize outcome management tools (including one or more of the following: ORS, SRS, CORE, and OQ 45) to inform and improve treatment.

• determine overall clinical success rates.

• interpret common ORS and SRS patterns and utilize this information to guide inquiries.

• significantly improve outcome and retention rates via feedback and deliberate practice.

• describe the technology used to support and improve of the services offered to clients and payers.

• describe how to adapt of FIT for work with special populations.

Day 1 Morning:

• Methods for obtaining client feedback continued

Day 3

Morning: Start 9:00am-noon (AEST, Australia, Syndey time):

• Interpreting and using aggregate outcome and alliance feedback data

Afternoon: 1:00pm-4:00pm (AEST, Australia, Syndey time):

• Interpreting and using individual client outcome and alliance feedback data


CANCELLATION POLICY

To insure an optimal learning environment, registration for this event is limited in number. The quality of the training depends on all registrants attending and preparing for the event by completing the pre-conference reading assignments. A 50% refund or 100% of tuition will be applied toward the next available training will be made if requested if cancellation occurs 75 days or more prior to the first day of the scheduled event. If cancellation occurs 74-31 days prior to the first day of the event there will be no refund but a 50% of the tuition portion of registration fees will be applied toward the next available training if requested. If cancellation occurs 30 days or less before the event there will be no refunds or deferral of tuition. CE fees will not be refunded.

In the unlikely event the workshop is cancelled (e.g., weather, death, natural or human caused disasters, or other “Acts of God”) participants will be automatically registered for the next available training. No liability is assumed or coverage offered for any costs incurred resulting from cancellation.

CE Credit Information:

Continuing Education Credits are available for the FIT Intensive Training (18 credits). CE credits can be purchased upon registration. Requests to purchase CE's after the initial registration will incur an additional adminstration fee.
