About this Event
Since last Fall the Division of Waste Management, UK Recycling, and Blueprint Kentucky has been drafting new Sustainable Materials Management Plans and a new Recycling Strategy for the State of Kentucky. Join us for a community event where we will discuss our findings from last year’s statewide community engagement events, alongside opportunities to provide feedback on recommendations related to Kentucky’s waste, recycling, and circular economy systems.
If you attended one of our community input sessions last year these events will be more interactive than those sessions. Allowing people with the best knowledge of these waste systems to provide feedback on the accuracy and effectiveness of the goals outlined under different topic areas. Your input is crucial to make sure that the Kentucky plan reflects the strengths, needs, wants, and challenges that impact communities and regions across the state.
