“Over the years our class has gathered for the 10th, 20th, 30th, 35th, 42nd, 50th, and 55th reunions.
Each time many of us came back together and renewed friendships that started when there were nearly 700 of us walking the halls at Federal Way High School.
Those were interesting times — war, drugs, and political turmoil. We went through them together and, over the years, many of us became good, forever friends.
A 60th reunion will eventually come along, but it occurred to me that waiting several more years may not be the best plan. Between Covid, the flu, bad weather, and the ordinary complications that come with becoming mature and wise, it might be a good idea for us to check in with

Class of 1968 coffee gathering
DATE: Sunday, May 17, 2026
Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club, Federal Way
(the same place we held the 50th and 55th reunions)
INFORMAL: The club would provide coffee, tea, iced tea, water, and soft drinks. If someone prefers to bring their own coffee, that would be fine.
TICKET PRICE: $10 per person to cover the room
and beverages.
No one will be turned away.
Spouses or partners would be welcome, and friends from other Federal Way High School classes would be welcome as well.
