Perhaps you’ve heard the stories. In October 1933, the Dillinger gang arrived in Hamilton where they hid out and planned to break famed motorized bandit John Dillinger out of jail. Join Brad Spurlock to learn about how local individuals came to play an integral role in Dillinger's story and discover which of the local Dillinger tales are true and which are myth. Spurlock is the Smith Library of Regional History and Cummins Local History Room Manager for Lane Libraries and a board member of the BCHS and Historic Hamilton Inc. In partnership with the Lane Libraries.
Reservations are required and limited to 100. Please be courteous when making reservations, if you need to cancel please let us know as soon as possible. Our reservations have been filling up quickly and numerous no-shows have kept others from being able to reserve seats.
Admission is Free for BCHS members, or $5.00 for non-members payable at the door. On and off street parking is available. The auditorium and first floor of the museum are wheelchair accessible.
