Prepare for me to be annoying...
I plan to post a few times a week trying to get DCC (and DCC adjacent) fans excited about CincyCon, a small Midwestern winter convention (Feb 27-Mar 1), that is SUPER affordable and always puts their attendees and vendor's experience frist.
The Con has a great mix of Miniatures, Board Games, and RPGs -and a wide variety of all 3. And they have a bunch of unique vendors for people looking for curious things you don’t always see at other conventions! Also, they have a flea market table where attendees can cash-out their old gaming stuff or cash-in other other folks’ treasure.
This year, they have made it their goal to become **a destination spot for DCC fans**, with 3 dedicated tables (to start with) for all DCC associated games placed right next to DCC affiliated vendors (they have reserved multiple spaces for vendors and can add more, My booth and the official Goodman’s booth will be part of this). My goal is to get the Midwest DCC fan base excited about this and make sure there are games running at those tables NON-STOP!
If you submit a game, make sure to indicate that it is DCC-affiliated so they place it in the right space (you can do this in the system or setting section of the submission). Also, Ed Stanek is working on a sharable Google Doc to help organize games/judges, and I have a contact for the guy who runs the table scheduling, so we can get adjustments of times and spaces made, if you need to after the fact (just PM me)
If you are a 3rd party publisher, this could be the most economical con you will ever vend at! If you want to share vending space, PM me – I’m trying to organize folks who might not have enough products out to do their own booth, but could collaborate on one.
