Please join the Fairhope Museum of History on Saturday, February 28th, at 1:00pm in the Museum Council Chamber for the February Speaker Series with Ashanti Ash and Kallia Bonner! Ashanti Ash and Kallia Bonner will present on the history of the Baldwin County Training School, their mission for the Black Education Museum, and future projects.Ashanti Ash is a Howard University Alumna with a B.S. in Architecture and Design studies. Originally from Fairhope, Alabama, her hometown continues to inspire a love of the outdoors and an interest in historic preservation.
Kallia Bonner is a recent graduate of Howard University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. She is passionate about the preservation of Black history and is committed to supporting community initiatives that uplift and engage local residents.
Admission is Free and Open to the Public, and refreshments will be provided!
