About this Event
Join botanist, wildlife biologist, and native plant gardening expert Gena Todia for a presentation on creating habitat and supporting native species right where you live.
Our local wildlife depends on contiguous (connected) habitat, and even small spaces can play an important role to connect wild spaces. In this talk, we’ll explore simple, practical ways to turn yards, patios, and even shared spaces into thriving native habitats. Learn why native plants matter, how to get started (no green thumb required), and how small changes can add up to meaningful conservation impact across our region.
