For our February book club we’ll be discussing Sebastian Barry’s Old God’s Time (2023), ahead of the author’s appearance at Kulturhuset on Sunday 15th March. The novel explores classic Sebastian Barry territory – uncertain memories of Ireland’s dark history -- this time through detective Tom Kettle whose retirement is interrupted when two younger colleagues come looking for help with an old case.
