February RING Jam

We are a local rope group and non-profit in Nashville, Tennessee, focusing on non-dogmatic practices and equitable access to education. RING is intended to help foster and support learning and growth in rope for all experience levels. The group's primary focus is on knowledge sharing from one member to another to help people grow in their abilities with rope. Everyone’s rope journey is their own, and our facilitators pride themselves on assisting everyone as an individual rather than conforming to a specific style.

Feel free to come and join us anytime; we do not require a specific membership and welcome rope enthusiasts from the Southeast and beyond! All events are 18+ and you must provide some form of ID for age verification.

RING Jam is a weekday opportunity to come share what you know, find someone to teach you something new, lab out a new tie, or just watch some amazing ties. This is an opportunity to build and enjoy our rope community! We have folks who self tie, floor tie, suspend, and just come to hang out!

RING Jam is an open rope-oriented space designed to give attendees the opportunity and security to practice with and learn from one another! We encourage folks to share knowledge and bring resources to further their journey. The Mark has a solid library attendees can pull from, and we encourage the use of phones or tablets to watch tutorials. Pretty much, it's a Rope Jam! If you have any questions, feel free to ask a peer!

RING Jam is NOT a play party! Like Open Rope at the monthly RING classes, this is NOT the time to have a scene; this is the time to PRACTICE for a scene. It’s a time to learn and communicate with each other to better understand how things can work in our scenes.

Info: Following up on the Consent and Negotiations class in this month's RING, we'll practice negotiating a bondage scene. What's important for you personally to cover in your negotiations, and how can you do so with respect for your partner's needs?

Requirements: None, though attendance at February RING class and/or prior self-introspection will be helpful.

As always, the playspace will be open to anyone looking to practice ties on their own!
