About the Presenter

JACQUELINE KOMOS (she/her)

Jacqueline Komos (Jackie) currently serves as Nashville Children’s Theatre’s Education & Engagement Manager where she has the opportunity to collaborate with Middle Tennessee’s community organizations and schools to connect children and families with transformative theatrical experiences, and as a Teaching Artist, working in the classroom (virtual and in-person) with youth ages 3-18. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Jackie has performed and taught at multiple theatres in Ohio and Tennessee. Her favorite memories, outside of Nashville Children’s Theatre, include her years performing with the Ohio Light Opera and touring with Columbus Children’s Theatre playing her favorite fairy tale characters. Working at Nashville Children’s Theatre is Jackie’s dream job—she couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to utilize the performing arts to help youth achieve their full potential and discover all the possibilities life has to offer. Jackie enjoys combining her passions for social justice and the arts together - whether it be providing artistic opportunities for those with little access to the performing arts or devising theatre that inspires dialogue, empathy, and action about the important issues of today.
