Come join us for an afternoon of weaving! If this is your first time weaving, not a problem—we will have weavers on hand to help guide you through the process of weaving a small heart shaped tray.
Workshop start times: 10:00 am, 11:30 am, and 1:00 pm.
Tension trays like this heart-shaped tray are fun and easy to make. Once the heart shape is created, children aged 8+ can do most of the filling in on their own, while younger children may need hands-on assistance.
Hang your tray on a wall, give it as a gift, or use it as a coaster or small trivet.
If you’d like to make a larger 13” heart, please purchase the 13” Willow Add-On along with your 6” Willow Heart ticket. Depending on your arrival time, you may not have enough time to complete the 13” heart during the Open Weave, but we’ll send you home with extra willow and all the skills you need to finish it at home.
We encourage you to come early and stay late—we have the hall from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Extra supplies will be available for purchase if you’re on a roll and want to keep weaving.
If you need to switch workshop times, no problem! You don’t even need to let us know—just come when it works for you.
This Open Weave is free to attend. If you’d like to participate in the mini-workshop, pricing starts at $15, with the option to contribute more if you’re able.
