𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼 & 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 → bozar.link/NocturneFebruaryThe first Bozar all over the P(a)lace event of the year sparks dialogue between different worlds: the new major exhibition at Bozar, Bellezza e Bruttezza, which explores the notions of beauty and ugliness in the Italian Renaissance, is open until midnight, while the performance Garden by Víctor Guaita Igual and Jacob Storer, a choreographic and musical composition, echoes it. In The 23, film director Courtney Stephens performs live Terra Femme, her documentary revealing amateur travel stories filmed by women in the 1920s-1950s. A DJ will entertain the evening in the Horta Hall.
This nocturne illustrates Bozar’s “room full of voices” moto. Fennesz, a leading figure in electronic music, launches the portrait dedicated to him this season, while the Palace resonates with the voices of Graindelavoix in a programme exploring the tension between beauty and ugliness in the music of Cipriano de Rore. At the same time, Bozar joins forces with Brussels Bijoux for the performances Thank God I’m Not Straight by Izo Pinay and La Fin de la Fin by Nina Plantefève-Castryck.
The tickets for each of these events provide complimentary access to the Bozar all over the P(a)lace program.
