Woodland Weavers & Spinners 2025/2026 ProgramMonday, February 2 from 6:30 - 8:30pm
Program for the evening: Deborah Corsini - Wedge Weave
Deborah is a weaving artist who has taken a deep dive into Wedge Weaving, a weaving technique weaving on a bias. This technique was first developed by Navaho weavers in the late 1800s and lasted only about 10 short years. No one knows how this technique developed or why it disappeared so soon after appearing. Wedge weaving has beautiful bold graphics with wavy selvages due to the bias weaving.
The speaker will be via Zoom for members. The venue will be open for members and guests.
