Community Sewing Class
Taught by Stitching Change
For anyone in the community, age 12 and up.
$7 per session or $18 for all three weekly sessions.
Wednesdays, February 4th, 11th, & 18th
Choose from morning or afternoon classes:
Morning Classes: 10:30am-12:30pm
or
Afternoon Classes: 1:00-4:00pm
The 3 weekly sessions follow a lesson plan, starting at the basics to completing a project, so we encourage students to sign up for all three morning OR afternoon weekly sessions. However, if you can only sign up for one or two sessions, we can accomodate for that.
You will learn:
Day 1: The basics of a sewing machine, sewing equipment, types of fabrics, and measurements.
Day 2: Using and cutting patterns; Start sewing a simple product that we've designed for the class.
Day 3: Complete your product and take it home with you!
Supplies and patterns are provided.
All the proceeds from the tickets will go to support our community programs.
