Join CCE Nature Educator Carolyn Klein for an exploration into birds and their adaptations! In honor of Ross Park Zoo's Animal of the Month for March, the Peacock, we will discuss different feather types, sizes, and colors, and how birds' bodies allow them to fly. This program will feature an hour of interactive and hands-on learning in the Wolf Woods Education Center, followed by a half-hour walk around the zoo. Participants are welcome to stay after the program to continue exploring the zoo.
The registration fee includes admission to the zoo for the program participant and one parent/caregiver. Capacity is limited to 20.
