Rooted in Southern Italian tradition, the Feast of the Seven Fishes (La Vigilia) originated as a Christmas Eve ritual — seven exquisite seafood dishes that honor the season’s spirit of anticipation and togetherness. Now, that old-world celebration is being reimagined with an Appalachian twist, blending Italian heritage with the bounty and heart of our mountain home.
