Join us for the first-ever women's conference held by First Baptist Church! We're excited to offer this event for women to gather and learn alongside one another. Our guest speaker, Michelle Lesley, will walk us through Titus 2 and its outworking in our lives.General Purpose: The conference will begin Friday evening and conclude Saturday afternoon. Throughout our time together, we will share meals, listen to 3 teaching sessions and a Q&A session from Michelle, worship together in song, and connect with one another. Our aim is to not only provide women with time to be encouraged and exhorted in their faith, but to also be a time of spiritual respite and renewal.
***Men will not be allowed to be in attendance.***
Food: All meals & snacks provided are covered under the cost of your ticket. Plan to eat supper before you come Friday, and we will take care of you until you leave Saturday afternoon!
Lodging: We encourage you to reach out to the event coordinators to discuss lodging with an FBC family Friday night, if needed. Otherwise, there are several hotel or airbnb options in the Brookings area for you to look into. Our hope is that you have enough time at the end of the event Saturday to travel home and worship with your local body Sunday morning, though you are welcome to stay and join us at FBC.
Parking: There is some parking along the street and to the east of the church. There is also a free parking lot across the street to the southeast. We encourage carpooling when available.
Children: There will not be childcare provided, so we encourage you to make other arrangements before you come. However, there is a cry room and a parlor area for moms of nursing infants available, both providing the ability to listen to the teaching sessions.
