Join the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range Chapter for our November 2024 bird outing!
Where: Sand Creek Park in Aurora
When: Sunday, November 10th from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Directions to Meet-up Location: 2700 Peoria St. Aurora, CO 80011 (We suggest using Google Maps)
The entrance to the parking lot is on Fitzsimons Parkway. Google maps will take you close to the parking lot but the lot is called "2700 N Peoria St Parking" on Google maps
What to expect: We'll walk 1-2 miles slowly on a gravel and paved trail. We'll go around the ponds in the park. The trail has some trees for shade but not in all locations.
- All are welcome on this outing! No birding experience is needed! We can provide a loaner set of binoculars.
- November weather is variable, so please wear layers and bring snacks, water, sunscreen, and birding gear, if you have any.
Accessibility Info: The meet-up location includes free parking, ADA-approved parking spots, an ADA-approved restroom, and a large picnic pavilion.

- If you can no longer attend this outing, please cancel your enrollment through Eventbrite so someone on the waitlist has a chance to join us.
- We want to make sure we continue to take care of one another. Following current health guidelines, masks are optional on this walk. We ask that you please not bring your pets to this outing. Service animals are always welcome.
