Verticals for Vets is set to host its second annual rare beer auction and fundraising event on November 10, 2024, coinciding with Veterans Day weekend. Following last year's resounding success, which raised over $16,000 for Veterans Community Project (VCP), whose mission is to help end veteran homelessness through specialized communities of tiny houses combined with support services that help veterans transition to permanent housing and financial stability. Event Highlights:
1. Rare Beer Auction: Building on last year's collection, which included complete verticals of Thomas Hardy Ale (1986-1997), this year's auction will feature an impressive array of rare and coveted beers, wines, and spirits.
2. Collaboration Beer Launch: The special Verticals for Vets IPA, a collaboration between Bent Barley Brewing Company, Launch Pad Brewery, and Dry Dock Brewing Co., will debut at the event. This exclusive brew will be available at all three breweries starting November 11, and all proceeds will benefit VCP.
3. Community Support: Last year's event saw donations from over 40 breweries, wineries, meaderies, distilleries, local artists, and individuals. This year aims to expand on that generosity.
