Join the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range Chapter for our January 2025 bird outing!

Where: City of Cuernavaca Park parking lot<-- link to Google Maps

When: Saturday, January 25th from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Directions to Meet-up Location: 1. Use the link above. 2. Use these coordinates to get to the parking lot 39°45'49.4"N 105°00'03.0"W or 3. Use the address 3500 Rockmont Dr, Denver, CO 80202 but take the roundabout on Rockmont to take a left into a small parking lot near the apartments seen at the edge of the park.

What to expect: We'll walk 1-2 miles slowly on a paved trail. We'll follow along the South Platte River.

All are welcome on this outing! No birding experience is needed! We can provide a loaner set of binoculars if needed.
November weather is variable, so please wear layers and bring snacks, water, sunscreen, and birding gear, if you have any. The path may be icy and we may deviate from the plan depending on ice and weather.

Accessibility Info: The meet-up location includes free parking (3-hour limit), portable bathrooms, and picnic shelters.

Trails are paved or wood for easy wheelchair accessibility.
Stops at bus lines 19 and 52 and Union Station are about a 17-minute walk. There are bike paths along the S Platte River Trail
