About this Event

Join the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range Chapter for a special screening of the "Flyways" episode of PBS's Nature program. The episode will be followed by a discussion on bird migration with CSU Fort Collins Doctoral Candidate Mikko Jimenez! We will meet on Saturday, July 7, from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Rudonlpho "Corky" Gonzales Branch Library (1498 Irving Street, Denver, Colorado 80204).

This location includes free parking and bathrooms. The building is wheelchair accessible. We will have English closed captioning on during the screening. There are many bus lines and a train station in the area. The 16 and 1 bus lines stop near the library and the Decatur-Federal Station (W line) is a short walk away. If you need help getting to this location, please DM us on Instagram or reach out to others on the chapter's WhatsApp.

All are welcome but registration is required. No birding experience is needed!

* We want to make sure we continue to take care of one another. Following current health guidelines, masks are optional on this walk. We ask that you please not bring your pets to this outing. Service animals are always welcome.

Please reach out to [email protected] or DM us on Instagram @fbc.denverfr if you have any questions or if anyone in your group has any accessibility needs we can help with.
