It’s a Faust-Warming Party!After two years of wild uncertainty, Mickee Faust has found its new home! The old House of Music is now the new Mickee Faust Clubhouse. For the past month we’ve been giving the space some demonic cleaning—fresh paint and a makeover that screams “welcoming community venue” and not “abandoned dream.” Now it’s time for a FAUST-WARMING PARTY! And YOU’RE invited.
Join us Friday, April 3, from 7:30–11:30 PM at 2011 South Monroe Street. Come check out the new Clubhouse, have a drink, eat some snacks, and engage in a little lively conversation with your beloved Faustkateers—or whoever else shows up. Meet old friends and make new ones as you wander the space. Marvel at the two stages, the long bar, and the very, scary basement and help us launch our brand-new artistic home.
We might subject you to a bad joke or two. Possibly three. No promises. But this evening isn’t a formal performance—it’s simply a chance for Faust to show off the new digs and celebrate this little victory with the wider Tallahassee arts community, its supporters, and its fans. Our new space is one we’d love to share with you for theater, music, poetry readings, burlesque, Shakespeare, drag, boring meetings, queereoke, trivia nights, and all the creative chaos that helps keep a community alive and kicking.
Whether you’ve been a longtime Faust fan or are just discovering us, you’re welcome to the party. Come raise a glass, kick the tires on the new Clubhouse, and help us celebrate the start of Faust’s next chapter. We hope you’ll come curious and leave feeling slightly more fabulous.
