Give back, get creative, and build community!
Are you looking for a low-impact way to support local teachers and the environment? Join us for a hands-on volunteer shift at ScrapsKC! Whether you’re a longtime sustainability advocate or just looking to meet some new neighbors, we’d love to have you join our circle.
What we’ll be doing:
Everything at ScrapsKC needs a little love before it finds a new home. We will be working on Donated Materials Processing and Sorting. Using simple instruction sheets, we will sort, package, and price creative supplies (think paintbrushes, paper clips, and treasures!) And prepare materials for the Teacher Resource Center (where teachers get free supplies) and the Creative Reuse Center.
