When you're plus size, fashion is often a stepping stone toward body neutrality or self-love, but what about community? Join us for a community panel discussing fashion, fat liberation, and community building at the 237 Collective. Snacks and water will be provided! T./Talya Miller will be your event host! T. is a community worker and artist based in Iowa City. As a fat, queer, disabled, and transgender individual, they don't shy away from the complexities of identity. T.'s projects have been featured regionally and nationally over the last 13 years. While varying in medium and method, there is a unifying narrative of creative connection throughout their work in both physical pieces and community spaces.
