Celebrate Father’s Day weekend with the City of Oakland Park at Father’s Day Fishing Fun!Join us for a free morning of family-friendly fishing at Royal Palm Park. Participants of all ages are welcome to learn the basics of fishing in a fun and educational outdoor setting.
This event is presented in partnership with the Youth Environmental Alliance, who will provide fishing instruction and support throughout the morning. Activities will include learning about ethical angling, bait and hook basics, rigging a pole, and how to fish safely.

Due to construction, the north side of Royal Palm Park will be closed. The event will take place on the south side of the park near the pavilion. Please follow posted signage upon arrival.
