Fast and Furriest is a 50k virtual race where you and your dog walk, hike, or run a total of 50 kilometers (31 miles) – on your own schedule, and at your own pace. There’s no need to complete the distance all at once. You can break it down into smaller activities and accumulate your distance over days or weeks.How it Works:
Track your dog walks or runs
Use any fitness tracker app to record your distance. Every walk, hike, or run with your dog counts!
Two ways to log your progress
Online Log: A link will be emailed, and you must keep the online log up-to-date daily.
Paper Log: A paper log can be emailed or picked up at the Bridge Sports Complex. Paper logs must be turned in once you complete the race or by June 1st.
Claim your reward
Once you hit 50k, we will send you your rewards to commemorate you and your dog’s accomplishment.

When it Starts:
The Fast and Furriest - 50k Virtual Race will take place during the month of May 2026. You will have 31 days to complete 31 miles.
Registration opens April 1st and will close May 10th.
The race will officially begin May 1st and end May 31st.
If you're late to the race, you will begin tracking your mileage from the date you registered.
