About this Event
Join Lavender Menace and writer Katrina Rolley for an intimate creative non-fiction workshop exploring how we fashion our selves and our identities through clothing.
What to expect
An informal conversational workshop in a small group lasting 2 hours (with a short break and refreshments). You don’t need to prepare anything in advance, but you’re encouraged to bring a photograph or piece of clothing that’s meaningful to you or someone you care about, to help us describe and share stories and experiences together.
About the facilitator
Katrina Rolley is a writer and digital creative whose work centres around identity, appearance and our sense of self. With a background in fashion and identity studies, Katrina’s current work uses personal experience combined with research into the self-presentation of lesbians in ‘20s and ‘30s Britain to explore how we all fashion our unique selves.
