Join us for an exclusive evening as we celebrate the official launch of BSBEE Designs, the fine-art jewelry collection created by Chicago-based artist and pediatric reconstructive surgeon Bruce Bauer.

This special event brings together art lovers, jewelry collectors, designers, and supporters for a night dedicated to nature-inspired craftsmanship, storytelling through sculpture, and one-of-a-kind wearable creations.

Hosted at FashionBar, inside the iconic Water Tower Place, the event will showcase Bruce’s latest pieces—each one hand-carved, sculpted, and created with deep respect for the natural world.

BSBEE Designs creates one-of-a-kind sculptural jewelry that blends ethical materials, intricate craftsmanship, and powerful themes drawn from nature. Every piece tells a story—of wildlife, climate, ecosystems, and the delicate balance of life on our planet.

Founder Bruce Bauer brings a rare combination of artistic vision and surgical precision to his work. Influenced by Asian artistry, Art Nouveau design, and his global photography journeys across the Arctic, Antarctica, Africa, Asia, and beyond, Bruce transforms gemstones and organic materials into miniature sculptures meant to be worn, cherished, and passed down.

This launch marks the first dedicated public event for the brand in Chicago.

Bruce Bauer is a pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgeon whose lifelong passion for carving and three-dimensional artistry has evolved into BSBEE Designs. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including representation at Wells Gallery (SC), Faust Gallery (NM & AZ), and participation in Milan Jewelry Week 2022. With influences drawn from nature photography, global travel, Art Nouveau forms, and ethical craftsmanship, Bruce creates jewelry meant to inspire awareness, beauty, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
