Fashion for Freedom: A Clothing Fundraiser for Healing

📝 About the Event:
Fashion for Freedom began as a way to bring women together in a joyful atmosphere of fashion, connection, and healing. Over the past two events, this powerful fundraiser has raised more than $17,000, helping women survivors of childhood sexual abuse attend the Time to Heal Retreat—Canada’s only free healing experience for CSA survivors.
Now in its third year, we’re expanding the heart and the reach.
🌸 New this year: We’re inviting young women ages 12 and up to join in the experience! Inspired by our daughters, who help build and nurture U Grow Girl alongside us, this change creates space for mothers, daughters, sisters, and chosen family to connect and heal together.

💖 What to Expect:
In three enchanting hours, immerse yourself in beauty, purpose, and community:
• 🌼 A stunning fashion show featuring incredible women and secondhand style with soul
• 🎶 Live music by the talented Gracie May (Kelowna’s Got Talent winner!)
• 🍎 Delectable treats and local cider from Shuswap Cider Co.
• 🛍 A charming outdoor boutique where every item supports healing
• 🌺 Floral crowns, fresh flowers, and joyful moments in the flower fields
• 💸 NEW! In-person 50/50 Draw – 5 lucky winners will each take home $500!
🎟 Tickets for the draw available at the event only—bring cash to enter!

🛍 How It Works:
🎟 Tickets are “pay what you can”—with a suggested donation of $20. No one will be turned away.
We are welcoming 125 guests to keep the event intimate, meaningful, and filled with heart.
📦 Bring a large reusable cloth bag and fill it to the brim for $50.
Want more? A second bag is just $25.
Prefer to shop piece by piece? Every item is available by donation.
100% of proceeds support our Time to Heal Retreat—Canada’s only free healing experience for CSA survivors.

💃 We Need YOU! Volunteers + Models Ages 12–80
✨ Want to get more involved? We’re looking for amazing women and girls (ages 12–80) to help bring this event to life:
👗 Volunteer Models – No experience needed! Walk our flower-field runway, wear donated fashion, and celebrate confidence and community.
🛍 Event Helpers – We need helping hands to assist with clothing prep, setup, and organization both before and during the event.
