We are thrilled to announce the Avant-Garde competition - The Avant-Garde Competition is officially open for submissions, offering designers the opportunity to showcase their talent during FashionBar The Shows during Fashion Week in Chicago - April 2025.
This competitive initiative takes place annually, with the next competition scheduled for April 19th, 2025, during our Designer Reveal from 2 PM to 6 PM!
Designers are encouraged to draw inspiration from the rich tapestry of Chicago's past, present, and future – exploring elements such as architecture, culture, diversity, the lakefront, and landmarks.
If you're a designer from the Greater Chicagoland Area interested in the Avant-Garde competition, kindly complete the Avant-Garde Designer application linked below.
The registration fee is $75.00.
Our top three finalists will showcase their Avant-Garde garments during the Urban & Streetwear show on Saturday, April 26th, from 4 PM to 8 PM. The winner will receive $2000.00 worth of FashionBar's consulting services to enhance their fashion brand. The announcement of the winning designs will be made by our esteemed judges, including your host – the incredible Sharuan B, MODEL & ENTREPRENEUR SHARAUN FROM NYFW & AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL – alongside other distinguished Chicago industry professionals!
Fashion designers eager to compete can secure their registration on Eventbrite by clicking the provided LINK, paying the $75.00 fee, and adhering to the rules and regulations outlined in the application form, accessible through the same LINK.
