Spend your March Break exploring fashion, creativity, and hands-on design at the Toronto Fashion Academy’s March Break Fashion Camp. This week-long experience is perfect for students interested in fashion, sewing, and creative expression.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of sewing while creating their own custom pieces using sewing machines and various design techniques. Throughout the week, students will work on small projects such as tote bags and pencil cases, while also learning how to personalize garments through painting, embroidery, and creative alterations.
Students are encouraged to bring a thrifted garment that they would like to tweak or transform, learning how to upcycle and redesign clothing into something completely unique.
This camp is designed for Grade 9 students and up, and adults are also welcome. No prior sewing experience is required.
By the end of the week, participants will leave with new skills, handmade pieces, and a deeper understanding of fashion creation.
