About this Event
Webinar 4 of the Fascial Pelvic Floor Webinar series. Each webinar is thematically congruent and addresses one of the specific fascial features in theory and training. All four webinars offer you a optimal foundation applicable in individual sessions as well as in a pelvic floor, yoga or pilates class. Start with one of four webinars all of which adress fascial features of the pelvic floor. Each webinar is thematically congruent and can be booked separately.
Get yourself updated upon the significance of the collageneous tissues and a healthy pelvic floor function in therapy and training. Each webinar will be recorded and available for three months afterwards.
Theory
- The visco-elastic properties of collagenous tissues and the liquid crystal within healthy fasciae
- The role of hyaloronan for suppleness, mobility and ageing
- Pathological changes: densification, adhesion and stiffening with reference to pelvic floor dysfunction
- Fascia-friendly nutrition and dietary supplements. Recommendations for training to enhance collagen remodelling
Practice
- Release: with foam rollers and balls. Melting stretches for the abdominal wall, pelvic floor and adductors
- Self-treatment: positional release techniques to release the soft tissues of the bladder, uterus and pelvic floor
