Join us as we celebrate our 53rd Annual Memorial Day parade, along with the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.Whether you’ve been attending for years or are new to the area, come and enjoy the patriotic setting of our historical town as the streets come alive with music, dancing, classic cars, horse drawn carriages, and much more.
Once again we are happy to announce at 11:00AM, the Main Street Market will open featuring artisan vendors. Be sure to browse their boutique tables before the parade begins!
📢ALL ROADS leading into town CLOSE AT NOON.
📢 AT 9:30AM the following streets are closed:
Southard Ave
Hall St (From Academy St to Walnut St)
Walnut St (off of Hall St house # 51-69)
Academy St. (from Southard Ave to West Main St)
NO PARKING on both sides of the street!
Only floats and parade participants are permitted on these roads.
All vehicles along the parade route must be relocated/moved out of the street by 9:30AM!
💙 Reviewing Stand will be located near Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church!
🇺🇸The parade will kick off at 2:00PM
There will be a Veteran Memorial ceremony at 11:30AM being held at Farmingdale‘s War Memorial at Lutz Park hosted by VFW Post 9691 American Legion Post 178 🇺🇸
Come early! Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on, a bag for kids to collect thrown candy! Show off your patriotic spirit by bringing your flags to wave high as the floats ride by! ✨❤️🤍💙
