Join us at Eastie Farm!
We are excited to partner with our friends at Eastie to explore their dynamic and unique urban farm. Eastie Farm is a community-based non-profit organization that pursues climate justice, food security, and community resilience through urban agriculture, education, and the building of an equitable local food system.
On Thursday May 7th, 11am to 1pm, we will tour the farm (including their geothermal greenhouse, mushroom farm & hydroponic conainer farms)! Bring your questions and curiosity. Then we will help pack CSA bags for local recipients.
Where: We will be meeting at the 6 Chelsea Terr, East Boston, location.
If you are driving: Please park at 189 Paris St. It is a one-way street heading south that will take you to a parking lot behind the farm. The lot will be on your left. Drive all the way to the back of the lot, past an Eastie Farm van. Let a staff person know so you can have a parking pass.
If you are taking the T or ride sharing: Ride the Blue Line to the Airport stop and walk to 6 Chelsea Terrace. Look for the signs. You'll find our greenhouse tucked behind a row of buildings.
