Full week session: June 22-26 9 AM -1 PM, Ages 8-12
Registration fills up quickly and is non-refundable.
Nothing tastes better than a meal that is freshly harvested out of the ground! Bring your young chef’s epicurean enthusiasm back to the source of the ingredients: land, soil, seeds, animals, and plants. Campers will explore how to grow and cook a farm-fresh meal from the ground up using ingredients that are in season and grown here on our working farm. After getting their hands dirty, kids will wash up and commence cooking. This camp is designed for ages 8 to 12 and is a fun way to develop social skills, teamwork, expand your child’s palate, and their love of the outdoors.
Feedback from past camps
“For my almost 8 year old it seemed to be a perfect balance of work hard play hard. She loved trying new foods (pickled turnips maybe?), getting dirty and playing with the animals.”
Arrive at 2351 Glade Rd at 9 am to sign a liability waiver and media release.
Send your child with 2 snacks, a water bottle, and weather appropriate clothes (sun protection /rain protection/jacket/layers).
Have your child wear long pants and closed-toed shoes that are appropriate in a barnyard with mud and animal poop.
You will be emailed additional camp details prior to the camp. If you have any questions please contact [email protected].
**Please enter your child’s name and age in the “order notes” section on the checkout page along with any food allergies or medical conditions we should know about.
